I chose to do an electric chair used for the death penalty which is something i disagree with. I did a few other pictures of chairs during my maths class (art was the only way i could escape without leaving the room!). Please leave a comment!
There's electricity in your drawing. I liked what you said about art - escape without leaving the room, I have always had this invisible runaway door in my life. You are one happy girl to have it, too. And a talented one.
The contrast between the black charcoal surround and the light centre gives a real feeling of electricity. Also the surround has a feeling of violence, appropriate to the subject. I also like seeing the preliminary chair doodles above. Well done.

That looks a fearsome chair! It reminds me of a dentist's chair argh! Though as you say even worse if its used for the death penalty...
